Subject: help! raw opal from virgin valley

okay, so i saw this tv show on the dicovery chanel about mining for opal in nevada. i thought it looked fun so a buddy of mine and i went down to there to check it out. we ended up going to rainbow ridge and paying for a pile of dirt they scooped out of the hill. we ended up with about a total of 20 to 25 pounds of opal at the end of the day. one of the highlights was a opalized tree branch that about 16 inches long and weighs just over 10 pounds. it is broken into 6 seperate pieces but fits together nicely. the base color is white with some fire in the middle then clears up at the edges and also has more fire as you get closer to the edge. i want to sell it but i have no idea of how to go about it. i have contacted many different people who all seem to tell me to call somebody else. is there anybody who can help me? i have pics for those who ask. anything would be great
