Subject: black opal problems

I have three black opal cabochons, with a top clear stone glued? on. They have been improperly stored in plastic bag with many other cabs for over 20 years. I inherited them. They have some separation between the top stone and the opal. Lots of fire, but some graying where separated. Fixable? Sellable? Value? How to store?
