Subject: Drilling Opals for Lapidary Work |

Having a difficult time drilling unpolished opal nuggets, using a dremel with a diamond bit, attempting to drill under water, not having much success. I think my drill speed is too fast, any suggestions. Diamond bit is commercial hardware variety, should I need a commercial grade?
