Some of the cheaper bits are plated diamond may peel off or dull rapidly. You might want to try scintered diamond bits, which have diamond throughout, but are considerably more expensive. Also, don't press too hard, that can dull the cheaper bits rapidly. A drill press for you dremel or foredom can be better also.
