I know it was found at Angels Camp, Ca
I don't know if it is precious or common
The colors are: Base is white, almost translucent and it fades to blue,(a light blue) on one side of the boulder and blue on the other side. It has beautiful fire lines.
Looks like opalized wood to me. But someone who knows more than me said it is boulder opal.
Sorry no way to post a picture of it right now.
