I hve been cutting for the last three years and I have gotten a rather large colection of about 300 stones that are cab and freeformed. I run into a problem when I show these to any jewlry store they all say they are very nice but they don't want to take the risk in setting them. What is the deal I have worked with quartz to diamonds and out of them all the diamonds break easier than my black opal. (diamond might not have been cut right) Or is it that I am in Arkansas and they don't know how to set a opal even when I tell them what I want? any sugestions? One of these days my wife is going to make me sell some to cover my hobby and I do have a great deal going with a friend from down under on a swap deal.
