Hi everybody!

My name's Franck, i'm from France and for the first time in my life i really know what i want to be!!! An "opal cutter" it sounds great... no???

But before that, I need help... As you know or maybe not, in france nobody knows anything about opals. Less than 2 people on 100 knows or have seen an opal. So it is evident that i won't fin dany help there.

I need to know about cutting and polishing stuff. What to choose, where to buy, what do i really need for starting. Advices and books to learn are welcome.

I know that American people have a passion for that stone... Hope you could understand how i'm burning for opals...I really need to be coached a little bit.
PS: if somebody knows a french association about opals, please let me know, cause I didn't find it anywhere.
