Subject: rare and precious opal

I am building a comrehensive opal site and directory as a personal hobby project. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some lesser known, quality opal information, particularly rare and valuable finds and pieces of significance worthy of inclusion. The more the better.

I live in Australia, and am having a hard time finding opal information without an australian spin. I am a web designer, so I have been through most of the information publically accessible via search engines. I will be sure to include references both on and offline to all involved. Thanks guys, I would really appreciate the help.
